Best Thing About Job:
I really enjoy engaging with business owners and managers and finding out about their business and advising them how to minimise the risk of fire to protect their business. Delivering training to delegates is very enjoyable. I like to provide a realistic training environment using simulators (fire, smoke, casualties) to give them the best training experience.
Worst Thing About Job:
Seeing the devastating consequences of fire and the impact which it has on business and personal lives.
Funny Story / Interesting Fact:
Staff training greatly reduces the likelihood of fire and the impact that it can have on business. 70% of businesses who experience a significant fire fail within 3 months A survey into the occasions when a fire extinguisher was used showed that they were successful in extinguishing the fire on 80% of the occaisons.
